Trail Appliances - Nanaimo

I had the unfortunate experience of my fridge breaking down a few days ago. It wasn't a pleasant experience, but Kristian Baxter from Trail Appliances sure helped make it much easier for me. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the products Trail carries and was able to help me find exactly what I was looking for in record time, at a price point I could afford. He negotiated the best possible deal for me, and I had my new fridge delivered within 3 days. Kristian ensured I had all my ducks in a row by sending me a link to pre qualify for financing etc so that when I went in to sign paperwork, it was a very quick and easy process. Melissa was part of the financial process, and she was super friendly and personable . It was a great experience dealing with both Kristian and Melissa. The day my fridge was delivered, there was a small hiccup as I didn't receive a delivery window time. Unfortunately, I missed the 1st delivery attempt, and I felt terrible about it. I phoned David, the delivery manager, right away and explained what happened. He was incredibly understanding of the situation and agreed to come back at the end of the day. They did, and unfortunately, had to deal with another predicament!! The fridge would not fit through the front door of my building. I did phone our strata management company to ensure that this would not be an issue...but unfortunately there was some miscommunication. Luckily, I was able to remedy the situation with a quick phone call. The delivery guys were super patient, friendly, kind, and efficient. I didn't realize that they weren't able to hook up the water to the fridge. It says right in the pamphlet I was given, but I think I missed it because I was stressed because of my other fridge breaking down. Kristian can recommend a good plumber to install the water hook up. I was impressed with how quickly the plumber got back to me and pleasantly surprised because I didn't give him any notice. He was willing to do it the very next day. In conclusion, if you need a new appliance or a package, I highly recommend talking to Kristian Baxter at Trail Appliances. You won't be disappointed. This guy knows the meaning of true customer service. I will absolutely be going back to him when I need any other new appliances.

After shopping around to all of the appliance stores in Nanaimo, we came back to Trail appliance because Tanner’s service was exceptional. And Trail also offered the best price on the same product that was at other retailers. The icing on the cake was that Tanner organized the gas fitter, as well as the delivery for us, making the whole process of buying an appliance, informative, easy and enjoyable.

Great experience, from service in the showroom to delivery! Lakesh, the salesperson who served us was generous with his time and good with follow-up. The delivery crew was very kind to accommodate me when I had a small time conflict during their projected delivery timeframe. Communication was great throughout the day with text notifications and calls. Once they arrived, they were professional, used utmost care moving fridges in and out of our home, and most of all, were very friendly and informative! Thanks guys!

I went to Trail for a replacement for my broken washing machine. Kristian helped find one. He was attentive to my needs and extremely knowledgeable. The prices are competitive, and their store has lots of inventory, so I didn't need to wait long compared to other local retailers. I highly recommend Trail and I wouldn't shop anywhere else for future appliances.

My husband and I purchased our first appliance, a new fridge, from Trail Appliance last year. After only a couple months the handles started completely peeling. We contacted the Nanaimo store and they said they don’t cover “ring scratches”. After sending pictures they could see this was not from any ring and gave me and email address for someone from Trail Appliance that would help us. I contacted Zack in October and was told we’d have new handles sent to us. It is now almost thd se one week of January and there are no new handles on the way. All around a highly disappointing experience. This will be our last purchase from this company.

I had a great experience with Trail appliances over multiple months. I worked with product expert extraordinaire, Kristian, who helped scope out a large purchase for two units in Tofino. We coordinate shipping, install and delivery, even amongst some challenging times with road closures / fires. Very attentive and always got back to me quickly with options.
